One of the aims of the Surrey CSN is to establish joined up working between member organisations and other interested parties for the benefit of surrey residents. One of the ways that we do this is to establish projects that members can work on in partnership.
We currently have 1 project that we are working on.
The Community Champions initiative aims to ensure that everyone can easily access advice, information and support when and where they need it.
This initiative aims to use local people to increase access to advice and support. We have identified people who are often approached for advice and support and given them training and a "tool kit" in order that they can signpost people to organisations that can assist them. We ran a training session on 1st February and photos of this event can be seen here.
We are constanlty looking to recruit more community Champions. We want to recruit people from within the community who, because of their character or a role they fulfill, are often approached by people seeking advice and support. This may be someone like you!
If you are interested in this role simply email us at email@example.com and and we will provide you with more information.
If you are interested in finding out more about any of the projects detailed on this page or are keen to be involved please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
