Guildford House,

in the High Street is an extremely rare example of a Restoration town house. As well as being an architectural gem, it is a well-used and well-loved art gallery. The Friends of Guildford House offer a series of afternoon and evening art lectures at Guildford’s atmospheric Guildhall from October through to April each year. They also organise visits to the large exhibitions in London, and to other galleries and places of interest in Southern England throughout the year. They are a friendly group and welcome new members.  For details visit http://www.surreycommunity.info/fogh/;
