Mulberry House is based at 32 Epsom Rd Guildford GU1 3LE Tel: 01483 577375 (Referrals are over the phone), A hostel for vulnerable women aged 18 to 35 years old.Self-catering. 15 single rooms with shared facilities. Maximum stay 2 years. You can stay until you are seven months pregnant.Applicants must have a local connection with a Surrey Local Authority and be on their housing register.
Number Five Night Shelter
Number Five Night Shelter (5 York Road, GU1) which is a emergency night hostel with 12 beds (Telephone: 01483 303646) in the centre of Guildford. The Number Five Project is Guildford's only direct access nightshelter for the homeless. Offering a hot meal, a hot shower, laundry and a bed to 14 males and 2 females every night, 365 days a year, the project also assesses each individual's needs, works with them to engage with local services & programmes and supports their efforts to move on with their lives.
The York Road Project (Woking Shelter)
The York Road Project is a registered charity which runs a direct access hostel for single homeless people in the Woking and surrounding area. Open 6pm to 8am daily Café open Monday to Thursday 11am to 2pm Services 11 beds in 5 single and 2 twin bedded rooms. Footsteps cooks and serves freshly made soup and sandwiches to the homeless and most needy in Guildford every Sunday evening throughout the year. We open at Beverley Hall Community Centre, 71 Haydon Place, Guildford, GU1 4ND from 5pm till 7pm. On Christmas day we provide a traditional Christmas meal. Pitstop Drop-in Centre
A day-time drop-in centre for the homeless, unemployed & socially isolated. They are based in the grounds of Leatherhead FC and provide a midday meal.
