Explore the relationship  between two great artists  GIOVANNI BELLINI  and ANDREA MANTEGNA.
The exhibition  will show paintings,  drawings and sculptures by these two artists who are related by marriage.

Central to the exhibition  are two historic  paintings,  the Agony  of the Garden  and two versions of The Presentation  at The Temple.

Burne - Jones (1833-1898)  became  a key figure in the art world at the end of the 19th century  and a
pioneer  of the symbolist movement.  This exhibition is London's  first major retrospective  of the artists'
work over 40 years and showcases 150 works in different media  -  paintings,  stained  glass & tapestry..

MONDAY 1OTH DECEMBER  2018                                                                                 KENSINGTON

LEIGHTON HOUSE was home to Frederick,  Lord Leighton (1830  -  1896), a classical painter who built
the house for his private palace of art. The Arab Hall is the centrepiece  of the house designed  to
display  a private collection of over 1000 lslamic tiles. Opulence  throughout  the interior with over 80 of
Leighton  paintings  by Burne  - Jones, Mallais & others.


LINLEY  SAMBOURNE HOUSE  - a late Victorian  townhouse with almost  all of its original interior,
decoration & contents. From 1875, it was the home of Punch cartoonist  & photographer EDWARD
LINLEY  SAMBOURNE (1 844-191  0).
