September 14th 2015 saw the village pub pass into new hands. John and Becky Hopper are now managing the pub on behalf of Richard Eshelby and present a wonderful selection of food and drink. Please make every effort to support this very important village asset. Much needed renovation was carried out to the pub, B&B rooms, the garden, the barn and the new shop, between January and October 2016. All facilities have now been modernised to a very high standard.

The shop opened in October 2016 with a fantastic selection of local produce, fresh pasties and bread, coffee and newspapers, come in for a natter, opening hours are 7:30 - 6:30 Monday - Friday, 8 - 5 Saturday and 9 - 5 Sunday.
