Attempt to steal a caravan in Westmore Rd on 31 Jan

The following message is from Debra Farmer:

"I would just like to inform everyone in the village that someone attempted to steal our caravan this evening. They have managed to do a lot of damage, but failed to get it away. I'd like to thank the young lady who informed us of the noise coming from the back of the house. We really appreciate that. Thank you Daisy. If anyone has seen any suspicious movement around Westmore Rd, please contact the police.

Many thanks"

Help shape the future of Tandridge

Tandridge District Council

If you have views about the future improvement, development and local protection of our area and the Green Belt, Tandridge District Council want to hear them.

As part of their Local Plan consultation, Tandridge District Council is asking anyone with an interest in the area to give their views on various approaches to how our area is improved, developed and protected. Visit their website www.tandridge.gov.uk/localplan to register and have your say before 26 February 2016. If you have a problem registering on this website, please contect Ana, the Tatsfield Parish Council Clerk, on tatsfieldpc@talk21.com, and she will be very pleased to help.

The final, agreed Local Plan will set out the vision for the district for the next 20 years so it’s important that you give your views. Without a Local Plan any future development would be decided solely in line with the National Planning Policy Framework, with little reference to local needs or views.

A survey has been launched to help Surrey Police and partner agencies gain a better shared understanding of the effects of cybercrime. The survey, organised by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, is aimed at gauging what measures the public have in place to protect themselves online and what kinds of cybercrime residents are falling victim to. The survey, which should take a couple of minutes to complete, is open to anyone and can be taken at www.surrey-pcc.gov.uk/survey.

One lucky participant will win £100 of Amazon vouchers.
