Help for victims of crime
If you are the victim of a crime you can speak in confidence to Victim Support who will give you all the help, support and advice you might need, free of charge.
Throughout Surrey over 170 trained volunteers provide practical help to victims. They are available to make sure that you are properly looked after but also to provide a friendly face, a listening ear and sympathetic support regardless of the type of crime, when it was committed or whether it was reported to the police. Support provided includes:
- Step by step guidance for insurance and compensation claims
- Help with victim Personal Statements
- Special support for serious crime
- Advice and information on a range of related matters
- Contacts with other local organisations who can help you
- Or simply someone to talk to
