Event: 50 Plus Club
Date/Time: Mondays: 2.00pm - 5.00pm, Tuesdays: 2.00pm - 5.00pm, Thursdays: 9.30am - 12.30pm
Location: Woking Leisure Centre
Details: Open to everyone over the age of 50. Although a club, there are no joining fees - simply turn up each week to enjoy a wide range of activities and a sociable way of keeping fit. Activities include Aerobic Warm-Up - Badminton, Short Tennis, Racketball, TechnoGym, Swimming, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam Room, Table Tennis, Short Mat Bowls, Country Dancing, Water Exercise. Organised day trips, competitions and coaching clinics are also special features of the Club. All equipment required for activities is supplied. All you need are clothes that will allow you to move freely and trainers or non-marking plimsolls.

Details: Surrey Community Action, in partnership with Surrey County Council Adults and Community Care, is setting up a Good Neighbour Scheme in the Sheerwater, Maybury and Central Woking areas and is looking for volunteers to join a Steering Group to take this project forward.
