Event/Club: Reigate & Redhill U3A (University of the Third Age)
Date/Time: Groups meet once or twice a month, in the daytime, usually in members homes. A general meeting is held on the first Friday afternoon in the month at Reigate Park Church Hall, Park Lane East, Reigate.

Details: TheU3A offers retired people the opportunity to pursue learning for enjoyment. Reigate & Redhill U3A runs over 60 different Groups, including Art, Archaeology, Crafts, History, Languages, Literature, Music and Science. Most Groups are small, friendly and enthusiastic. Formats vary but are basically self help study groups with full member participation. In addition to the Groups and the general meetings, there are coach outings, holidays, study days and seminars. So many opportunities for creativity,studying new topics, learning new skills and making new friends. The only requirement of new members is that they should be retired.

Date/Time: Meetings take place in various locations but usually in members homes or local halls. The frequency of meetings varies with subject weekly, fortnightly & monthly. Most meetings are in the daytime.

Details: The U3A offers retired people the opportunity to pursue learning for enjoyment. There are about three hundred members of Banstead 'University'. Subjects presently pursued include: Italian, German, French, Scrabble, Bridge (3 levels), Computing; Wine tasting, Walking (4 groups), Tennis, Table tennis, Line dancing, Painting & drawing, Poetry, Reading, Music (several groups), History ( five groups), Philosophy and Social studies.

Date/Time: The third sunday in the month at 7.45 pm
Location: Members' homes, mostly in Reigate or Redhill
Details: Humanism is not a set of doctrines - it's an attitude to life, centred on mankind and human interests. It is possible to live a morally good life without faith in the supernatural, to make best possible use of our lives, to make world a better place to live in, now and for future generations.
We are a small, friendly Group. Non-members are welcome at our monthly meetings where topics range through politics, ethics, philosophy, local, national and international affairs and social issues from a humanist and secular perspective.
We also have enjoyable social events such as a summer pub lunch and a Winter Solstice party.
