Mole Valley 50+ Group
On Friday, 6 July 2007, the first meeting of this new local group was held at Park House, in Leatherhead, hosted by Mole Valley District Council.Topics discusseded for priority actions included:
- Liaising with the Police to reduce litter and yobbish behaviour
- Liaising with the District Council to improve customer satisfaction and financial performance of Dial-a-Ride
- Working with the PCT and other groups to improve the care of the elderly, especially those with dementia
- Setting up a befriending service to help the housebound
In addition, a committee was elected, the draft constitution amended and the result adopted.
