Details: What's good for the heart and blood vessels, studies show, is also good for the brain. So get moving! Evidence continues to mount that when you are physically active, your brain benefits. Many of the complaints associated with ageing can be made less severe by keeping active and taking time to understand our body's needs for movement as well as rest. Activities available include keep fit exercise (Chair based, equipment based and general keep fit), Tai Chi, Indoor Bowls, Table Tennis and much more.

Details: Healthy Walks are a round the year programme of walks that provide an enjoyable way to improve your health and fitness. Participants are encouraged to walk briskly. For health benefits you should breath more deeply and feel warmer when you walk. Be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear, also bring some drinking water.

Event: Stroke Support Group
Date/Time: Every Thursday, 2.00 pm

Details: If you are a stroke recoverer or a care for someone that has suffered a stroke we can support you. we are developing a support group that can offer speakers and services, computer lessons and general support for people of all ages.
