This website conforms to the double 'A' (AA) accessibility guidelines as outlined by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

Browsers

This web site is designed to work with a wide range of current browsers. It has been tested using Internet Explorer version 6 and Firefox version 1 on Windows PC as well as Internet Explorer 5.2.3, Firefox 1 and Safari 1.2.4 on Apple Mac.

Changing Text Size

There are two ways you can change the size of text on 50+ site:
1) You can change text size via the 'A' icons at the top right hand side of each webpage (just above the community pages button - see picture below)

2) You can use your browsers' inbuilt tools for increasing or decreasing text size. This will work on all text and can be usually found under most browsers 'View' menu and then under 'Text size (see picture below).

Where possible all images have been given appropriate detailed text tags.


Access keys

Use of access keys varies with the software that you are using, but generally you can use them to go to a feature by using the 'Alt' key plus the appropriate access key: for example Alt + 1 will take you to our site home page.

On some browsers, for example Internet Explore, you use the Alt + accesskey then click the 'Enter' key.
