The Spelthorne Community Arts Association can award grants to affiliated groups, and publishes a quarterly newsletter, called Arts News.
NEWS
Spring is upon us and there are many things to look forward to. It is amazing how many events take place in the area, from flower shows to and art exhibitions to plays and musical productions. There's something for everyone and I hope they will all be well attended and successful.
It can be quite costly to put on these events, but help is at hand! All groups affiliated to the association are entitled to apply for grants for capital expenditure (not running costs) and we are in the fortunate situation of having sufficient funds to consider all applications. Please send in any request by the grant application deadline (details below).
The A.G.M of the Spelthorne Community Arts Association will take place on 9th July at Spelthorne Museum. I hope that as many groups as possible will be represented.

MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR OF ARTS NEWS
Please, please, please let me have copies for the Arts News. There seems to be less and less items coming in. The diary section is well used, but apart from a few regular contributers actual news of group activities are negligible, so let others know what you are up to and what your organisation is about or just a history of your group. It might even lead to increased membership.
