Congratulations to the winners of this year's Normandy Summer Photographic competition, particularly to Jane Hughes who is now the proud custodian of our annual Normandy Summer Photographic trophy. Many thanks to all those who entered the competition this year, as the quality of the entries received was exceptionally high. As far as our good judge Normandy Parish Chairman Peta Malthouse was concerned, "The winning picture captured the essence of what it is to live in our village".
This year's competition gave the chance for all our photographers out there to choose their own special subject or location within and around the area of Normandy Parish, allowing participants to capture the beauty of our unique landscape north of the Hogs Back. As a result, the quality of the entries submitted were fabulous!
Any proceeds from the Photographic Competition, as organized by Maria Angel will be going towards the voluntary community-based facilities Normandy Day Centre 'Silver Surfers' Internet Cafe and The N-Factor Normandy Youth Club, both held at our Village Hall.
We look forward to next year's competition and seeing Normandy Parish through your camera lens.
