Welcome to the Normandy Parish Council Website.

If you want to live in the country and yet be able to commute easily, Normandy is the place for you. With our own railway station you are only a few minutes from Guildford and on to London. Within easy reach of Guildford, Woking, Aldershot, Godalming and Farnham and yet surrounded by lovely countryside.

The ever developing and much used recreational facilities in the village are the envy of the surrounding area. I came to live in Normandy for a few months 23 years ago and am still here. What more can I say!

Parish Plan Presentation

On the 24th April, Paul Napthine from Surrey Community Action gave a presentation on Parish Plans to around 40 members of the public in an open meeting held in the British Legion.  The meeting, facilitated by Normandy Parish Council provided information on the benefits of creating a Parish Plan and the process which should be followed.  Click here to view Paul Napthine's presentation.

Normandy Parish Council serves the people of Normandy and works to ensure that the interests of residents are clearly communicated to higher level authorities such as Guildford Borough and Surrey County Council.  The Parish Council's activities include maintaining local land under its control for the benefits of the community, reviewing local planning applications and submitting its views to Guildford Borough Council, and working to create and maintain other amenities such as the Manor Fruit Farm site and Playgrounds for the community.
