We are a small, friendly group of carers who meet in Leatherhead every other month on a Monday evening. If you are caring for someone with a mental illness, the group provides an opportunity to get together with others in the same situation and share experiences and concerns.
As well as mutual support, we offer advice and information via a varied programme of speakers and discussions. We also have ladies lunches for getting together and chatting informally.
For details about the group and forthcoming meeting and lunch dates, call: Marjorie Hudson (01306 888281) or Alicia Makin (01372 843516).
Rethink, which has carer support groups all over the country, is the leading national mental health membership charity working to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life.
