Houses in France
Two recommended House in France - near Nimes.
Having spent 3 weeks this summer (2007) near the lovely town of Uzes, we can thoroughly recommend the Gite we stayed at, or a luxurious house we visited in the adjoining attractive pottery village of San Quentin.
The first was a Gite sleeping 7, very comfortable with a large private garden and a fine communal swimming pool. It was only about €600 peak season as we got it on a French web site.
The other is a superb village town house with private swimming pool in a lovely garden. The house itself could easily be in "House and Gardens" - really very elegant with a fine terrace overlooking the garden. This is however €2000 per week in season.
