First Great Western have told us that -…there have been some movements 'behind the scenes' with regard to First Great Western information being displayed at Guildford Station. Racks are to be introduced by mid-July, so timetables etc can be on display, without special requests having to be made via the Booking Office.
A welcome small improvement to the present situation where no information has been available at all, not even at the Booking Office.
The SWT representative at the Transport for Guildford Forum told us that some form of seating would be provided for disabled and elderly customers queuing for and using the ticket kiosks. We planned to attend the next meeting at the station with our MP in two weeks time. Any other suggestions for improvement would be welcomed.
