1 Some of those who supplied cakes for the garden open day left behind containers at 26 Semaphore Road. June Collis has put them on her porch for your collection.
2. Right on cue, for those inspired to improve their gardens, we have an offer of horse manure from the Gallagher daughters at 19 Pewley Way, tel: 532735; 50p a bag.
3. The evening arranged by the Blanco family to raise money to find out what happened to Mark is on 8 July (see HTAG news 29/06). A poster with all the details is on our main notice board.
4. A stray e-mail appeared out of the blue in my inbox from a friend of Richard Butler in Australia. You will remember him as our treasurer; he and his family are all well and I sent him our best wishes. I hope he is braced for an Australian defeat in the Ashes series later this year.
