Theatre Visits
All Horsley U3A members are eligible to take part in these visits. We e-mail U3A members who are on line, and put notices of future trips on the U3A notice boards at the Village Hall and in the Station Parade shop window, and on www.horsleyu3a.org.uk.
We try to vary the types of theatre visits as much as possible so that we can cater to all tastes.
Our trip is to The Mill at Sonning in August was greatly enjoyed by all. The dinner/theatre arrangement was well organised which made for a sociable and relaxing evening. "I Ought to be in Pictures" by Neil Simon turned out to be a very witty and well acted 3-hander.
The next outing is to the National Theatre to see "Blood and Gifts" on October 7th. Enquiries to :
Denise Smee, Appletree House, Ockham Road North, East Horsley KT24 6PU.
In December we are going to see "Yes, Prime Minister" at the Geilgud Theatre but I'm afraid all the tickets have been sold. They disappeared like the proverbial hot-cakes!
