Adding a feeds page
RSS (RDF Site Summary - formerly called Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) or web feeds are widely used by the web community to disseminate news or comments on their websites.
A website (for example, the BBC) can make 'available' some of its content, such as news headlines or stories. A RSS document (in XML format) is created and includes a description of the content and specifically where the content is on its site. You as a user can subscribe to that feed and display it's content on your website.
Websites who publish feeds can register them one of several existing directories of RSS publishers. These directories or content aggregators, are individuals or organisations that gathers web content from different online sources for reuse or resale. This process is called syndication, and is basically the supply of material for reuse and integration with other material, often through a paid service subscription.
Another type of content aggregator are those who simply gather material from various sources and display on their website.
