Welcome to Guildford Sinfonia

Guildford Sinfonia is an amateur orchestra for adult learners.  We rehearse every Thursday evening during term time.  Rehearsals are from 1930-2130 at Westfield School, Bonsey Lane, Woking GU22 9PR.

Where does the orchestra perform?
The orchestra holds a free informal concert for friends and family at Westfield School at the end of each term.   We are looking for opportunities to perform more widely in the Guildford and Woking area and details of forthcoming performances will be listed here.

Is there a membership fee?
There is a small membership fee payable termly.  This covers expenses such as our rehearsal venue, conductor and new music.  The orchestra is run by Surrey Arts, part of Surrey County Council. 

Social Events
Some members adjourn to a local pub for post rehearsal refreshments and there are occasional social events for orchestra members. Recently we held a Christmas Meal at the Olive Tree in Jacob's Well and a bowling night.
