30 years supporting the homeless and isolated families
'Give a Gift' appeal directly benefiting those in need
During our 30th anniversary year we are launching an Appeal to encourage people to 'Give a Gift'. The Gift we are seeking will enhance the lives of Isolated families and those that are homeless.
Your Gift will directly benefit those that are most vulnerable and at risk within our communities;
Why should you trust us with your support and donations
- We have 30 years experience running activities and projects that engage with and help those most vulnerable and at risk within our communities.
- We work with many other statutory and charitable organisations emphasising the charity meeting the high criteria within todays society.
- We work with those who have issues that may include debt, housing, mental health challenges, isolation, relationship breakdown, parenting skills, domestic abuse, employment and substance misuse.
- We tackle these issues with your support by practical support to increase confidence and self esteem. Through advocacy and advice with tailored support plans to meet current individual need, we hope to enable people to make life changing decisions for themselves.
- We work with many other charitable and statutory agencies, but over the next few years we know it is crucial we gain additional fundraising from the general public for us to provide an open door service, which is non judgemental and offers continuous provision to anyone suffering disadvantage.
The benefits of giving (for you)
- We will keep you informed on how your donations are contributing and how many people this is making a difference to.
- You will receive regular news updates from us..
- 'Give a Gift' which directly benefits those in need and also helps making our community a better place to live and work.
- Make a difference working with the charity to help those most disadvantaged within the community.
- Even a small amount which are more affordable to you as a donor will make a difference.
The benefits of giving (for the charity)
- It allows charities to provide immediate relief when an emergency occurs
- It helps the charity budget effectively
- Keeps admin fees as low as possible
- We can plan ahead to provide continuous support to those most vulnerable and at risk within the community.
- It means the charity isn't as reliant on large funding streams, who if they withdraw funding, puts services at risk.
- It means the charity can collect gift aid on donations given throughout the year
