GUILDFORD FREIBURG ASSOCIATION
Since 1979, Guildford has been twinned with Freiburg im Breisgau, a city of some 220,000 inhabitants in Baden-Württemberg, in the south-west of Germany.
The Guildford Freiburg Association ('GFA') was formed in the same year, to promote understanding between Guildford and Freiburg, as well as to strengthen the bonds between them through:
- Contacts: personal, social, sporting, cultural,business and official;
and - Exchange visits and links: between schools, businesses, clubs and societies.
