Proposed DORKING AREA ARCHAEOLOGY GROUP. 

A new group is being considered to study the archaeology of Dorking and surrounding area, which could undertake work on known Prehistoric, Iron Age, Roman and later period sites and finds as research projects. If any member is interested in this local archaeology group, that could be set up with sufficient local interest, please contact: Frank Pemberton BA MA , Rose Cottage, 5 Flint Hill, Dorking, Surrey RH4 2LL email address frank.pemberton@btopenworld.com  

Reports for The Dorking Advertiser

We are looking for a volunteer to take over the monthly meeting report for the Dorking Advertiser. They only require a 300 word summary and this keeps us in touch with potential new members so we really do need to find someone to take this on as a matter of urgency.

Dorking History 2010

Dorking History 2010 is due out in October. If anyone has any article they wish to submit for publication please let Kathy have them as soon as possible as our editor is in the course of putting the publication together.
