Dorking Museum Library

The Museum Library is open to members of the public for a fee of £1.

The Museum Library holds a collection of photographs, maps, estate agents' sales particulars, newspaper cuttings, census returns and parish registers on card and microfiche, rate books, post office directories and ephemera such as deeds, business accounts, school logbooks, theses and unpublished memoirs, as well as general reference books, local history journals and other printed material relating to Dorking, the surrounding area and its inhabitants.

The Local History Group maintains a small collection of books at the Museum Library that may be borrowed by members.

The Museum and Library are open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2-5pm and on Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
