Action for Life run a programme of 25 different free weekly walks around East Surrey. The mainly level walks are between 1.5 and 4.5 miles,and are aimed at encouraging people to either improve or maintain their health. The guided walks are led by trained volunteer walk leaders.

Al-Anon (not to be confused with Alcoholics Anonymous) offers understanding and support for families and friends of problem drinkers, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not. The parents, children, wives, husbands, friends and colleagues of alcoholics could all be helped by Al-Anon and Alateen whether or not the drinker in their lives recognises that a problem exists.

We are the premier tennis club in Banstead with seven courts, four of which are floodlit. We provide tennis facilities to players of all abilities from the age of 4. Banstead May Fayre is an annual event to raise money for charity normally held on the first Saturday in May. The fayre which started in 1985 is organised by The Banstead Village May Queen Group and is Chaired each year by the mother of the May Queen.

The Barn Theatre was purpose built as a community theatre in 1924. It is largely constructed of timbers from a local 13th century saw-mill and still serves its original purpose of linking Oxted and Limpsfield to provide a venue for social events. Plays, musicals, pantomimes, dance shows, musical evenings and a variety of other entertainments are hosted by the theatre.

The Brigitte Trust is a registered charity offering a free service of emotional support and practical help to people suffering from cancer, motor neurone disease and other life-threatening illness.
Our Volunteers are fully trained and supported and have undergone CRB checks. They offer help with sitting to offer respite for carers, driving to appointments, shopping and a listening ear.
