The Walton Firs Foundation is a charity set up to save the Walton Firs Scout Campsite and Activity Centre. We are fundraising to purchase the land that the site sits on to keep it available for Youth to use in future genertations.

Walton PACE (Public Action on Congestion amd the Environment) is a non-political group, which is probing the short-comings in the local government organisations and pushing for action to tackle the gaps in traffic management systems, road improvements, on-street and off-street parking - all matters of concern to everybody yet no-one seems able to get the attention they need.

A writing group for writers who have been published or are aiming for publication. The group aims to provide help to its writer of all grades and capabilities by personal contact with the group; providing constructive criticism and support by circulating information and encouraging its members to share in their successes. This is a prose group only. 
Wanborough has only a small population (approx 250) but is spread over a surprisingly wide area between Normandy, Compton, Puttenham and Ash Green. Parish Councillors meet in the Village Hall to discuss a range of topics including planning, road safety and police matters.

The Waverley Community Mediation Service is an independent voluntary organisation set up to help resolve many types of neighbourhood problems and disputes. The services of specially trained mediators are available free of charge to any member of the community who applies for support in these situations.
Do you enjoy a competitive game of Ladies badminton? We are a small, friendly club, playing with feather shuttles and meet every Wednesday morning, 9.45am-11.45am. We also run a Ladies team in the Woking League (evening matches). We are always looking for experienced players or those who are improvers. No beginners please.
The Parish Council is the local tier of government and manages various amenities around the village. The Council has seven Members who meet twice each month. The public may attend these Meetings. The Parish has a full time Clerk whose office is at The Sports Pavilion in Benner Lane and he is able to provide information about many local matters.

Go is an ancient oriental board game for 2 players comparable with chess. It has simpler rules and yet more complex strategy. We meet in a private house in Shalford on Monday evenings. Beginners welcome.
We are a group of Open University graduates in the Guildford area. We meet monthly for friendly social events visiting museums; galleries; historical sites; local places of interest and attending musical concerts. Duration- half day, dates vary. Transport- arranged by members.

Women of any age are welcome. We have a speaker on many occasions, a craft afternoon twice a month, a garden club during the summer months and some outings. The organisation is non-sectarian and non-party political. We hold a bring and buy three times a year and there are evenings when we hold a quiz.

We are an active group of radio amateurs based in and around the Guildford area. We meet on the first and third Fridays each month at the Guildford Rowing Club at 19:30. Both licenced amateurs and newcomers to the hobby are most welcome to visit us on a Club night.
