Concern & Help for East Elmbridge Retired (CHEER) is a local charity based in the civic centre in Esher we have been serving the retired community for over 50 years. Partly funded by Elmbridge Borough Council, Surrey County Council and The Lottery. Services we offer: A Befriending Scheme, Telephone Help Line, Two group Holidays a year, Finance and benefit advice.
Bringing Claygate together
Working in partnership with Claygate Parish Council (CPC),
A voluntary group set up in partnership with South East Coast Ambulance Serivce. We attend 999 calls made to the ambulance service in our local community, Effingham, Bookham and Horsleys. Living in the area we can get to the patient before the ambulance can, enabling us to give emergency aid before the NHS crews arrival.
A Speed Watch scheme has been organised for Elstead Village, to encourage drivers to reduce their speed through the village. This has the full support of the Parish and County Councils and the Surrey Police. Volunteers use radar to record speeding vehicles and supply information to the Police so that friendly written warnings can be given to the owners.
Inland Volunteers
Group exists to promote better driving. Activity is driving - aim greater road safety. Observed car drives. Affiliated to Institute of Advanced Motorists. Open to anyone with full licence who wishes to improve and take IAM test.

We are a friendly church from every generation and race with a heart to see God's Kingdom established. We desire to bless all those who come to us and all who live in the borough of Epsom & Ewell and afar! We run events for young mothers, children of various ages, young people and the over 50s.

Mediation helps people explore and resolve problems they are having between them. We conduct neighbour mediations between neighbours having issues between them. We also may be able to offer other types of mediation, such as schools or homelessness upon request. We cover the council boroughs of Elmbridge, Runnymede and Spelthorne.
We are a local watch group serving the residents of Parkland Grove, Ashford, Middx.
A community environmental group based at St Marks Community Centre, Franklyn Road, Godalming, which raises concerns and issues surrounding the local area.
The purpose of RAVS is to improve the life of the people in Runnymede by: • promoting voluntary work • supporting voluntary and community organisations • being a voice for the voluntary sector • identifying gaps in provision – working in partnership with other agencies

We provide first-aid cover within the community, we also provide first-aid training to the public. We Cover Hampton Court, East and West Molesey and Imber Court, as well as, london duties. We also run a youth section Cadets (10 to 16 years old)and plan to start a Badger Sett in the near future (6 to 10 yrs)
St John Ambulance is the country's leading first aid organisation. Our vision is that everyone who needs it should receive first aid from those around them. No one should suffer for the lack of trained first aiders.
The local Community Centre where residents can come and enjoy a variety of different activities in a light modern building with a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
St Martin's Hall Community Trust was formed to provide and maintain a village hall for the residents of Lower Bourne, Farnham. It is widely used by a nursery, Brownies, Guides, Yoga and many other social activities. The Trust aims to diversify and extend the Hall's community use.
The Surrey 50+ Network is part of The Better Government for Older People programme which recognises the value of involving people in developing services and seeks to "Improve public services for older people by better meeting their needs, listening to their views and encouraging and recognising their contribution".

The Surrey Consumer Support Network is a network of organisations that provide advice and support to Surrey residents. We aim to increase access to sources of consumer advice and support, we provide reports of rogue traders and scams affecting Surrey and provide a gateway to a range of advice and support through our member organisations and online through this website.
Surrey has three policing divisions – North, East and West. The three divisions are further divided by the county’s 11 boroughs which between them are home to our 106 Safer Neighbourhood Teams. Each borough is led by a Neighbourhood Inspector responsible for co-ordinating the work of the teams.
Surrey Together is a partnership between Surrey County Council, Surrey Police and Surrey Police Authority. The four teams work to prevent antisocial behaviour across the county by working closely with communities at risk of developing problems.

TADPOLE - Tongham Against Development Plans on Local Environment has been formed as an action group to strongly oppose a planning application to Surrey County Council made by Magellan Petroleum, for permission to drill an exploratory borehole in the search for hydrocarbons at Manor Farm, Tongham, near Farnham, Surrey.
