Chaldon Cricket Club

The Club was formed shortly after the First World War and moved to its present location, Six Brothers Field, in the late 1920’s following a gift of land to the people of Chaldon from Martin Coles Harman.

The ground is now owned by the National Trust and is a beautiful place to play cricket, which takes place on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer.

The Club fields 2 teams which play on Saturdays in the Fullers Brewery Surrey County League and one team on Sunday which plays non league cricket against sides from Surrey and Sussex.

New members are very welcome to join the Club, which as a Community Amateur Sports Club, is open to all who wish to take part either as a player, umpire or social member. Presently we only field senior teams i.e. normally age 18 or over, but if anyone is interested in setting up a junior or ladies section we would be delighted to discuss the possibilities.

If you are interested in joining the Club please e-mail

John Reeve ( johnrreeve@yahoo.co.uk) or telephone 01342 835222 (Home).

Alternatively, just turn up on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon during the season and introduce yourself and you will be sure of a warm welcome.
