The results of the consultation done by Surrey County Council are now available:
- Questionnaires were delivered to 670 houses.
- 258 replied (39%)
- 177 were in favour (69%)
- 81 were against (31%)

CHALDON VILLAGE COUNCIL
The Village Council represents the residents of this beautiful Surrey village.
It aims to preserve and make accessible to others the rural charm of its environment, whilst supporting and developing the different activities that the village has to offer its residents.
Chaldon is proud to be a Quality Council and, in addition, to have adopted the Power of Well-Being in May 2010.
Chaldon Village Council has just been re-accredited as a Quality Council (September 2011) - this has to take place after 4 years and involves the submission of a large folder of evidence prepared by the Clerk.
